7global achieves this by using a highly resilient architecture with high levels of redundancy built into both the hardware and software components. Managed VoIP On Demand™ works as follows:

• An application server will control your phone systems over the Internet.
   
• Your Internet phone system will digitise calls and send them over the Internet.
   
• The call is then sent from your Internet phone system to the Managed VoIP On Demand™ platform where it is then switched to the PSTN or to a separate VoIP terminal.
   
• Your phones can be IP or analogue. The analogue terminals will use adaptors to work with the Managed VoIP On Demand™ service.
